Plants and insects have battled for millions
of years. From a need to survive, some species
of plants and trees developed natural insect-repelling
qualities. It's these very same qualities that
fascinated Bio[pack]'s founders. Combining their
knowledge of plants and insects they
researched and developed unique packaging and
materials that repel insects naturally from all
types of foodstuffs packed in flexible packaging.
Bio[pack] Ltd. is a private Israeli biotechnology
company that was established in 2001. The company
is engaged in research and development in the
field of insect-repellent packaging and materials
for the food industry. Bio[pack] has already developed

using special techniques that grew out of the
company's intensive R&D efforts.
